Science Board

It is a board consisting of scientists who are experts in their fields to prepare project-based studies and reports on scientific research on scientific, technological, social developments and trends in the world.

 In the Board, economic, political, cultural, environmental and social problems are studied on a project basis with a focus on development, and the data obtained are shared with the relevant interlocutors and the public with the correct diagnosis and solution suggestions. The main objective is to provide decision-makers at both local, national and international levels with accurate and consistent policy recommendations with a scientific basis and to use the resources of the world and our country more efficiently.

 The main objective of the projects to be developed and carried out in the KOSAM Scientific Board is; "to determine the existing problems and needs by using scientific methods by understanding the spirit of the time correctly in line with the developing trends in the world and in our country in a development-oriented manner, to reveal the root causes, to search for solutions and to make projections for the future".

 In KOSAM Scientific Board, researches based on scientific data and findings are carried out to develop ideas and suggestions on the world and country agenda with research based on artificial intelligence and information technologies, especially on Industry 4.0, digitalization, disruptive technological developments, climate change, the search for a multipolar world order, and the social transformation experienced in all areas of life in the world and in our country.

 KOSAM Scientific Board consists of scientists from different universities who are experts in their fields, and in this way, synergy is created by bringing together the knowledge of our universities.

 New projects to be carried out are discussed in the regular meetings of KOSAM Scientific Board. The Board is responsible for monitoring and supervising the projects supported and carried out by KOSAM. During these meetings, the progress of the projects currently underway is also reviewed with the relevant project team, who are invited to attend the meetings as participants. In addition, opinions and suggestions on the problems on the agenda of the country and the world are discussed. The minutes of the meeting are submitted to the KOSAM Board of Directors as a report by the KOSAM expert who carries out the secretariat of the board.
